For a recent exercise in Barry's class we were asked to observe an active environment for an hour--paying special attention to how people interacted with each other and their surroundings. The objective was to identify opportunities for 'design interventions' in which some thing or process or interaction could be improved upon through design. I chose to hang in an SF MUNI/BART station.
